i never use any electronics with the tam tam. i was assuming you would be processing my acoustic sounds? | i improvise what’s heard at any particular time from a selection of generatively cycling material. based on hearing oneself through other people, like a mirroring | ok matt. i see. we can work with the theory on the day. my tam tam material is kind of compositional anyway, it doesn't change too much from performance to performance, so we just need to find some material from you that will fit | no problem – and we can think about some design to the diffusion then. when I’ve worked on some material I’ll send it to you there’s an excerpt from Rhodri and me here: | it's my tam tam sound that rhodri is using !!! brilliant. i know he had a recording and was using it for various things. it fades out gently before the ruffled sounds are introduced. it's from vibra 1 (i sent you a copy of vibra 2). well, seems as though we're going to have a ball !
