Combined Performance: Shabash / Emanation

This immersive performance/installation harnesses both acoustic and electronic forces in a combined performance of Shabash by Harding and Emanation by Harding & Sansom. For each performance of Shabash the instrumental parts are newly generated, scored for any combination of instruments, it subverts stochastic principles to create a piece that is 'always different always the same'. The 16-channel piece Emanation is a response to Studio 1 that uses field recordings made in and around the studio facilities. Additional recordings are of weather recorded from inside the artists' homes.
